hi, I was just wondering if this looks right for an A* algorithm. I've wrote this program in java. The red shows the coordinates that have been removed from the "open list" and the black shows the coordinates that are in the open list.
I don't know why it's creating that werid triangle though because I would have though that the F value would have been lower towards the bottom right part of the polygon.

Now I know there is somthing wrong with my code ->

I'm sure thats not the result of an a star algorithm , can anyone see what I might be doing wrong?
