Now $65.99

I see good deals all the time on hardware and I thought it might be useful in this forum.
I will try to keep this thread updated often.

Newegg has Crucial 2GB (1x2GB) DDR2-667 PC2-5300 memory for $50 with no rebates and free shipping.

Okay, here's a better option (currently):

Patriot RAM
Extreme Performance series
DDR2-PC6400 (800MHz)
4-4-4-12 latencies

At the moment, there is a $40 mail-in rebate, plus $4.99 shipping, brings a grand total of around $45

Cheaper, faster, better quality, lifetime warranty :)

Sure, you have to wait for the rebate, but that's cheap!

Besides all these 'good deals' i read alot of reader reviews about newegg that say some of the components they bought are 'dead' and they had to send it back. Not sure if this is true or not but this orum is going to go on for pages and pages to come.

Are there no U.K. sites that offer good PC Component deals? Hard for us international folk to try find a way to get it across here but i got a few friends that are willing to ship it me me that stay in the U.K.

There will always be lemons, something you just hear more about some then others. It's not neweggs fault, but the manufactures or the mail service.
