ive just bought a new computer with vista home pre-installed. ive got no probelms with it but i need to use certain programs that currently arnt supported by vista.

how do i get get rif if vista complety and instal xp ?

Howdy:

First thing you have to do is check to make sure there are XP drivers available for everything on your system. Many computer mnanufacturers are supplying hardware, etc. that only have Vista drivers available.

Next, better check to make sure what you are wanting to do will not void your warranty. That is a very real possibility.

Lastly, is the XP cd you are wanting to use a full retail version or OEM (came with another system) ?
