I'd like to get a video card that I could use for dual display. I have a VGA monitor and a bigger one that requires DVI. Any suggestions on what to find/get?

My system is:
XP Home
512 MB Ram
Pentium IV

Thanks!

Budget?
What are you doing with it? Gaming or just basic tasks like internet?
Do you have a PCI-E x16 or AGP slot? If you do not know download CPU-Z > run it > go to Mainboard tab > Down under Graphic Interface it will say either PCI-Express or PCI (or you could just do a print screen if you are not sure).

If you are just doing basic tasks then you do not need to spend much.

Sorry for the delay in responding and thanks for offering to help. Looks like I only have PCI slots. Budget-wise, about $100.

Best card under $100, Radeon X1650 GT, has 2 DVI outputs and a DVI to VGA/D-sub Adapter so you can use the other monitor: http://www.newegg.co...x...on+X1650+GT

This if from the Tom's Hardware review: http://www.tomshardw...card/index.html

This is the November issue so you could wait for the December issue to come out in a couple of days, if you are not in a rush, to see if it changes at all but it will probably not change much.
