how do i recover something i deleted

while i was moving all my pic and music files to my new hard drive in prep for formatting my old hard drive.....i love my music files.

i know you can recover deleted files, but how?

when it happened, it told me that the folder was too big for the recycle bin - do i want to permmantly delete this folder? thinkin i was deleting the folder from my old drive after i coppied it to my new drive, it deleted every music file from both drives.

can ya help me?
