It seems that the average price for Photoshop CS3 on store sites is $650+, whereas the average price for buying it off Ebay is closer to $350. If they are advertising "New, Retail, in box" are there any drawbacks to purchasing on Ebay?

Just curious your thoughts...
Thanks

The price seems to be relatively close to the student discounted versions($289.95) like from this site which are legit and much safer to buy from then ebay...: http://www.campustec...3...2&mv_pc=118

If you are a student then buy a version from a site like Campustech or the Academic Superstore.

But if you aren't a student you can attempt to buy from ebay but remember its always a risk and try to buy from a "trusted seller". There are people on ebay that will burn you a copy(extremely illegal) then sell it to you. I’ve shopped from ebay in the past and my experiences weren't always the best but it is always a risk shopping from an auction site like ebay.
