Computer FREEZES connecting to www using Dial-up

My computer freezes when I start a Dial-Up connection, nothing moves on the computer, nor CTRL+ALT+DELETE works, when I restart the computer it works but, later if I disconect and connect again, it freezes.
I'm running a
P4 2.4GHz
382MB RAM
WIN XP HOME EDITION

plz help me :tazz:

I can't, there's no broadband service in my area, so, I'm fúcked up. :tazz:
