is there a way to repair vista ? like there was in xp to replace any deleated sytem files sfc?scanow think it was in xp .

Hi rinconjoe...

I assume you are referring to sfc /scannow. Yes, there is, but it must be run from an administrator command console session.

Click Start, then All Programs, then Accessories. Right click on Command Prompt and choose "Run as Administrator"...accept the action. In the command console, type sfc /scannow and press "Enter"...the system file check will begin.

To quit the console, type exit and press "Enter".
