I have desktop with 2 user accounts and 2 hard disks..a 40gb and a 250gb...the 250gb hdd is partioned..lets say drive x and y...I want User A to only use drive x, meaning everytime they install something it automatically goes to to drive x and User B to use only drive y..can this be done?

not that i know of no....you could redirect the user's "my documents" and things of that nature to the new drive....
