For anybody that has seen my previous monster topic, I've gotten new stuff and so far its been rock solid. Playing games has never been smoother. But I've hit a snag. I just got a BSOD.

I was trying to watch a quicktime video on the web which crashed Firefox (I've been aware of quicktime crashing Firefox for a while now, but I didn't know the video was quicktime until it was too late). Immediately after Firefox crashed I got the BSOD.

Windows Error Reporting says the problem was caused by my audio drivers, and that I should check for and install the newest ones. I'll most likely do this because I'm still working off the drivers that came with the motherboard. I'll also blow away quicktime and install the newest version of that too.

EDIT:
By the way my sound card came with the motherboard, (instead of integrating the sound they supply a little sound card) its name in the System Information window (from run command "msinfo32") is SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio.

What I'm looking for is any insight any of you have. Am I going down the right track? Anything else I should be doing?

I didn't think to take a picture of the BSOD but I'll copy paste the text from the Event Viewer info box on the error:

Description:
Error code 1000000a, parameter1 0061005e, parameter2 0000001c, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 804fa11e.

Error 1000000a is the same as an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error.
These errors are usually hardware related or in the form of a faulty or incompatible driver, or it may be caused by virus scanner software.
