When I turn the computer on, it shows the manufacturer screen, then goes dark. Just a blank screen. Any ideas?

Thanks, Sam

When you first start it try pressing the f8 key then pick start in safe mode. See if this works, you may be able to find what's wrong.

Thanks, good advice, but I did that last night. It simply goes blank even when I try to start in safe mode. I'm really baffled. :)
