Ok I've tried everything I could think of and not getting anywhere. I guess an A+ cert. doesn't mean as much as it used too.

I turn the laptop on, HP bios logo shows, 2 bios beeps and then <F1> Resume <F2> Setup

I am unable to do anything after this, seems as though I get no input from the keyboard.
I have tried entering BIOS prior to beeps and I am unable
I've tried booting from CD and nothing
I've reseated the ram and HDD

Any input would be great!

If I can further explain anything just tell me what you want to know as I would hate to shell out $150 to local computer company to tell me it needs a new $200 mobo on a $400 lappy

If you have an external Keyboard port ... try one (if you have a PS2 port ... or a USB keyboard)
