Hi,

Don't know if anyone can help, but things are bad!!!

I have just added a back up hard drive to my pc, everything was going ok, until boot up, then the whole lot crashed.
I did the normal diganostic checks but nothing cured it

I completly wiped all the (OS) old drive and started about re loading Xp.

I can get the computer to load, but I have a grid simliar to below shadowing the cursor and over the top of the icons.

iiiiiiiiiiiii
iiiiiiiiiiiii
iiiiiiiiiiiii
iiiiiiiiiiiii

During investigation using a windows boot disc I noticed that during boot up it said

Unable to control A20 line!
XMS driver not installed
RAMDrive extended memory not present
low memory below 640k

I would appreciate any help anyone could give me, as I'm not over experinced on these kind of faults.

Thanks

Bic
