I have been through the list of tools and pretty well cleaned up the PC I have been working on. It is once again usable but there appears to be a Trojan of some sort continuing to lurk somewhere and I don't seem to be able to find it with any of the tools supplied. I use CA eTrust as a scanner. It has identified the trojan and calls it Win32/AdCode!Trojan but doesn't seem to know what to do to eradicate it. Trend Micro doesn't seem to even recognize it (is it really a trojan?). I assume that this is the culprit that continues to degrade IE Explorer performance. Sometimes Explorer will work fine but other times it will hang for a minute or two and then start working again. Also, I am getting popups with a Windows title of Aurora. I have seen a couple other posts that mention aurora but did not see any instructions for getting rid of it. Any help would be appreciated.
