Welcome to GTG DougB :D

Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.

Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results. <_<

Be sure you have read the instructions in the guide exactly. You will open the program, run a scan, save the log, and then copy and paste the log to a new reply. <_<

Here's an easy one :D. First put hijackthis in its own folder. Such as C:\HJT, C:\HijackThis, or just put it in "My Documents". You need to do this so it saves backups, just in case. Reboot in safe mode (by tapping F8 at startup and select safe mode from the menu). Be sure you're able to view hidden files and folders, and remove the following files in bold:

C:\Windows\dllhelp.exe <-- This File

Next, please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [dllhelp] c:\windows\dllhelp.exe

Reboot your PC.

If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log. <_<

Ok, tougher than I though <_<. Please Download CoolWebShredder from http://www.geekstogo...tion=show&id=17. Extract it & run the program. Click the Next Button & let it scan. Make sure you let it fix all CWS Remnants. Afterwards, please post a fresh HijackThis log.

Ok I ran the program and it said No lop uninstallers were run from Add Remove Programs. Click Yes to force the uninstall of any lop software or leftover lop files found on this computer. I clicked yes and nothing else happened. What do you need me to do now.
