Hey, I'm sort of wondering how to reformat my computer. I have never really done it before but I've read many internat articles about it and they all say you need a windows Xp CD ROM or something which the company didn't send with my computer. Is there a way I can get arround this or what?

Thanks,
Dan

Did it come with an operating system installed? If it did, the folks that built it for you are required to provide you with a disk and product key for it.

It came with Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, I've looked though all the discs and stuff they sent me with the computer but all I can find are EVGA disks and some drivers

Edit: On the computer case there is a little Windows authentication sticker with a product number and stuff on it

Then all you need is the disk. It will be pretty hard to do anything without it...and there would be no way to reinstall the operating system.

You should contact those who sold you the machine and have them give you a disk to go along with your product key.
