Ok since yesterday when I view the task manager a lot of my programs are loading twice. For example I have avgcc.exe and avgcc .exe, but please note there is a space between the .exe in the second instance.

These are running 'processes', ceni3, not programs. It's quite normal for a process to appear twice, especially 'svchost.exe' which appears twice in your list and no less than 6 times on my PC. However, if it's not spelled exactly the same then it's a different process, and you need to be concerned about a process which is spelled slightly differently to the 'genuine' process, especially the 'avgcc .exe' with a space. The genuine 'avgcc.exe' (no space) is your AVG anti-virus control centre, but the other one could be malware. Many trojans and viruses are carried in bogus filenames and processes which look similar to genuine Windows files to make them less noticeable.

You should scan your system with 'HijackThis' and post the log to the "Malware Removal - HijackThis Logs Go Here" section:
