sound card problem

hey

i have a problem wiht my audio i only get static noice through my speakers and headfones wiht little music over the top. it worked fine yesterday but when i changed from headfones to speakers this problem started ive reinstalled the sound card a few times and checked everything e.g volume,sound ,speach,audio,settings,device controle when i run sound test no sound comes through the speakers,phones i dont see the problem? am i missing something the card is creative "sound blaster live 24 -bit" has been running fine for over 2 years
