i just bought a pair of corsair-XMS2 DDR800 2x1gb (twin 2X 2048-6400) 5-5-5-12 ram, and i found that my Intel D865PERL doesn't seems to support these RAMs.
As i look into intel's website, i search for the compatibility list and this is what I've got :
http://www.intel.com...b/CS-027106.htm
the maximum DDR which my motherboard supports is DDR400.....So, i am wondering if i wasted buying these RAMs?

Howdy:

Save your money. Even the crucial site says the max speed is DDR400 for that mobo.
