Just had help from the malware forum on cleaning up spyware, which was successful unfortunately it has left the system unable to reboot properly. I have to go through last known config each time i reboot.

Any ideas, could someone give me a hand.

When you google this problem you can find that quite a few people had the same problem but no definitive solution was found to any of them.

Please write down the make and model of your computer and whether you have XP installation CD or any type of original recovery CDs.

Howdy:

The above bothers me. Before we go any further, I would like you to go HERE.

Allow the Validation Tool to install. Run it and "copy and paste" the results back here.

Thanks,
Murray

Hi the reboot problem seems to be resolved , the drives and MFT were heavily fragged, so i ran boot time de frags and that seems to have fixed the problem.
