have tried all chipset drivers that I could find on hp site and several others as well, some for other 6000 series models and a few for the 9000 series.
A couple seemed to install but would not install the network driver so can't connect to the internet.

Also tried these:
9.46_nforce_winxp_english_whql.exe
8.43_nforce_650i_winxp32_english.exe
12.15_nforce_520_winxp_international_whql.exe

So far can't get the network controller working in xp.

The notebook has an AMD 64x2 Turion processor
Nvidia 7150m graphics
nforce chipset for the motherboard

I'm running out of things to try :)
