I recently had some malware issues, and I believe it was the outerinfo bug with a combination of other things. I had previously used spysweeper and it found trojan.zlob and trojan.bho. After restoring my file associations and fixing my registry (at least I believed its fixed)....all the problems that were occuring seem to be gone (outerinfo pop ups and f-prot antivirus being completely disabled). I've since then either restored my file associations or reinstalled programs that needed re installation. At the moment I am using Spy boy search and destroy and its still finding things related to my registry such as this thing called LSA and Fake.Wget. My problem now is that each time I log on into windows xp, there is a black screen with a window with chinese text and my system32/~~~~~.dll location. Then there is an ok button, I tried to use ctrl alt delete but it would not let me pass the black screen unless I click ok. How can I fix this??

ebordendave,

It sounds like you still have some lingering malware issues on your PC. I suggest you go here and follow the directions for downloading and running hijackthis. You can then start a new topic here and include your hijackthis log. If you are declared clean and are still having problems, then come back to this thread and ask for further assistance.
