Hey guys.

I am really having trouble getting rid of a file that is infected. Every time I open IE or Windows Explorer, Norton pops up telling me that I'm infected.

Well, first of all let me point out that I have AdAware SE, Spybot S&D, Norton 2005 Internet Security and check for updates regularly and scan regularly. I also have SpywareBlaster and SpywareGuard installed. So how this thing got on my computer is beyond me.

I have also been posting on an other site asking for help and they have helped so far but still I can't remove this file.

I've tried going into safe mode and deleting the file but I'm told that file is currently in use or the disk may be full :tazz:

I googled "atmpvc.dll" and stumbled accross your site as someone else had the same problem. So I was following recommendations in the following post: http://www.geekstogo...t15451-s15.html , but I got as far as downloading KillBox as when I try to run Killbox, I get the following error: "Killbox.exe is not a valid Win32 application.".

So it seems I am not meant to sort this bugger out.

I noticed that the file "atmpvc.dll" is showing up in my HJT log and I tried fixing it, but it remains there ;)

Below is my HJT log. Would really appreciate any help you can give me.
