We have been having trouble with our computer. It has Windows XP on it. Each time the Control Panel is clicked, a message saying: "C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll.exe Application not found" pulls up. Also, when a program is clicked, something comes up and asks what you want to open the program with.

Hello Mudkipboy,

Try downloading EXE File Association Fix from Windows® XP File Association Fixes and let me know if this resolves your program opening issue.

Regards,

Ax

Thanks, that worked. I had to save it on a Flash Drive and start the computer in Safe Mode on Administrator to get it on though. If I wasn't doing that, a message saying something about not being administrator would come up and not let me do anything.

Please don't bump topics that are around 8months old. You have a topic in the malware forum, stick to that until they fix your problem
