Hi, this is my first post and the problem is driving me mad! Apparently, my IE6 has been hijacked by the above-mentioned virus. Nothing I've been told/read has helped...I did find an online self-help guide but kept getting the msg "PendingFileRenameOperations Registry Data has been Removed by External Process!". I'm running Windows2000 which i've also been told doesn't have a system restore? The hijackthis log is:

Click here to download Pocket Killbox by Option^Explicit. Extract it from the zip file then double-click on Killbox.exe to run it. In the 'Full Path of File to Delete' box, copy and paste the following, clicking the red 'Delete File' button after pasting each one:

Click 'Exit' when done.

Make sure that you have no other browser windows open as this could prevent the fix from working properly. Open HijackThis, scan and when complete, remove the following entries by checking the box to the left and clicking 'fixed checked':
