Is there a way to tell when a file was last used? If you right click and look in properties it will just show the last time as being the second you right clicked it?

There is a little program called 'filedraft'.
If you have a folder with a few files in it.
it will display the top ten accesed or downloaded.
I use it for downloads mainly, haven't used for anything else.
But it may be worth a look.

These is the direct download link.

Sorry but I couldn't find a website for it.

I'm not sure if this is what you need but it is useful and safe.

Right click on any column heading, Name Size Type etc. Click on More... at the bottom then check Date Accessed. This will give you a last accessed column in Windows Explorer.
