I have a Dell Dimension 2400.. running on XP with...

2.5Ghz CPU
256MB RAM
80 GB HD
Intel® 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller 64MB

I am upgrading to a 19 inch flat panel monitor & 1GB RAM & I am wanting to upgrade the graphics/video card to atleast a 256mb, but I have heard that the PCI cards aren't that great. I am wanting to better my performance for photos/video/editing/some gaming.. but I am completely lost on what I really need.

If anyone knows of a good upgrade please let me know, before I make a terrible purchase.

Hi Miss Zombie,

This computer seems like quite an old one. I really wouldn't go spending too much on upgrading it, but this card seems to be alright and should help out a bit.

I hope that helps :)
