I've tried to fix this problem with both AVG and avast! antivirus free edition, and i've also followed the steps in the Malware Cleaning Guide, but all to no avail... (the panda activescan keeps closing itself during the scan, for some reason)

However, i would like to point out that this is not the only problem i've been having: before this new "Trojan Horse Backdoor Generic9 MLW" i've received today, AVG has also identified something else called "Trojan Horse PSW OnlineGames" a few days ago, with the infected file being C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\msacpe.sys. It's been stuck in my computer since then (the file keeps regenerating itself), but with the discovery of "Trojan Horse Backdoor Generic9 MLW" this problem seems to have suddenly disappeared, it seems as though the new trojan "replaced" the old one.
I've also noticed that during startup my computer now stays at the welcome screen for an extra minute or so, and that the "temp" folder in "documents and settings" keeps getting filled up with thousands of .tmp files in the format of tmpxxxx.tmp (with xxxx being a number).
