Hello,
In a webinar today we where told (by Microsoft) not to install SP1 for office as it has a few issues.
Microsoft released this in windows updates and it has caused some issues with usability.

Where did you actually get this information?

Im just concerned with the validity of it.

I have had SP1 installed since 12/11/07 with no problems at all.

Many good sources currently still support Office 07 SP1.

As a Microsoft certified partner we view webinars (seminar over the INTERNET). This came directly from Microsoft.
Part of the issue is if you are using Office 2003 you will have problems using Office with out reinstalling from the original media.
This was actualy in reference to using the OPK to instal the SP!.

In some cases (small percent) the user is asked to put the media disc in so that office may copy files.
This only effects a small number of users but if the office was pre installed (OEM) they will be less likely to have media.
