Yah so I have a few pretty large games on my cp and I want to add a new one so i tried to uninstall some old ones. I get this error message. I have a windows Vista cp. I don't get it for all games just some games. I tried uninstalling a different game and it worked fine. I am missing the disk for one of the games as well so I can't use it to uninstall it. But i tried to use the disk to uninstall a different one and I got the same message. I appreciate any help I can get.
P.S. I am sorry if this was the wrong place to post this I was debating between this, games, or Vista

Hello tta1995 and welcome to Geeks To Go! I think this will fix your problem: Go to the start menu>run>Type in: "sfc /scannow" exactly as shown (except for without the quotation marks) Make sure you have your Operating System CD in before doing this.

Let me know what happens,

Hey man I've been looking all over and I can't find that disc I think my dad took it so he wouldn't lose it and then lost it. Is there any other way to fix this?
