Constant Lag on the internet

Whenever I use my computer for the internet, at first it runs smoothly, but then after a short time it starts delaying the internet and freezing, I also called my ISP company about this and they told me that the service is running fine and that its my computer that has a problem. I have 2 computers and i tried the modem on the other 1 and it works perfectly, no delays or lag or disconnection. But when i use the modem on my main computer, i constantly get lag and disconnection and delays. I also tried restarting my computer, my modem and getting a refresh from my ISP but still it continues to do this. My ping for some games would reach 20k. So im guessing theres a problem on my computer. I scanned my computer using Norton, CA Internet Security, Windows Defender, Ad-Aware, and Webroot SpySweeper. I also deleted all of the infected files that it scanned. But still I am recieving lag,delays and disconnections. So im guessing it has something to do with the contents of my computer, such as a setting is put wrong and such.
