I was getting help from someone a few weeks back, and my post must have gotten lost. Here is an updated Hijackthis and Activescan. I also ran Trend Micro, AVG, and RAV. None of them found anything, so I found it odd that Activescan did.

and furthermore....

when I log on i get this thing saying I need some indeo codec.

and, I can't get windows updates. It says I must be logged on as an administrator when i go to windowsupdates.com. I am an administrator. I'm the only user of this computer. What gives?
