Desktop trouble[RESOLVED]

I downloaed and cleaned my system. I thought I did everything right. I now have the blue screen as my desktop and still have the missing tabs on my properties box. I can not change my wallpaper. I ran s&d ad aware and the cwshredder and also the ones from microsoft. I have been pounding my head all day. Can someone please help. I can post my hjt if needed

Please post the log. If you really are clean (wp.exe is not loading!) then all you need is a regedit fix.

Start, Run, regedit, OK to bring up the regedit program.

find HKey_Current_User->Software ->Microsoft->Windows->CurrentVersion>policies (Hit the + sign in front of each Key as you find them. That will open up the subkeys.)

Under Policies is usually an entry named System. If you find it highlight it and press the Delete key. Then OK. Close the program and reboot.

Start, (Settings), Control Panel, Display (Properties). This should bring up Display Properties/Background. Change the wallpaper to something else and Apply. You may also need to select Web and uncheck the box where it says View My Active Desktop as a web page. OK

thanks for your help. Had someone help me this morning, Metalica I think was the name, and I got it fixed. Thank you guys sooo very much
