hp c5180 printer

got hp c5180 printer... says it is connected to pc in control panel. scanning works on it. printing via the printer itself works. however i cannot print from the pc itself. i have had problems with previous printer connected with USB.
maybe a problem with printer spooler??
anyone help thanks

Unplug the usb cable then remove the drivers for the printer in add/remove programs. reboot, run the cd that came with the printer to reinstall the drivers, plug the printers usb cable back in
