Hey playa_in_mind,
The reference to A/V (multiples) is for education, as most complaints of slow performance after cleaning a machine is due to an over-abundance of scanners. I have AVG and Comodo ( paid subscriptions ) and are very comfortable with them. I sent a link that details most of what is available earlier. Use the information there to research further :)

I let the kids here use P2P programs to see whats out there infecting machines. It has been very productive in helping me find malware. I don't have to say any more on that :)

Anyway, you appear to be clean and on the right track. I believe we can close this now, if you need more assistance just give a shout my way.
