Hello, a week from now I started having problems with a couple of things.
First of I have been having problems with IE6 SP2, when I try opening an external thinks IE frezzes for arround 15 seconds to end up opening nothing, when I press cntrl-alt-del during this wait time it seems that windows explorer is not responding.

I also have a problem with the XP Search funtion that is in the start menu, when I click on it windows explorer also stop responding and doesn´t open up anything bit if I do open My PC window for example and then click on search it does work.

The thing is that if I do start my pc in safe mode I don´t have any of this problems, the computer works perfetly in save mode. I have already run several anyspyware programs and my norton antivirus, aslo in safe mode but can´t get to fix it.

Here is my HijackThis log, I really hope you can give me a hang with this.

You have an awful lot of things running, and many of them are of the type that monitor processes in real time, or are always active. Easing up on them might help.

Normally, if you're posting a hijackthis log in this forum, and you haven't been asked, you're in the wrong place. Suspected malware infestations go in the forum in my signature.

You appear to be free of spyware at the moment, but you should seriously consider getting rid of messagePlus, which has been known in the past to install spyware. I would uninstall it.

You also have a long time member of the "rogue spyware gallery, Enigma Software Group's SpyHunter. This company has used deceptive business practices to lure people into purchasing their software (false positives) and is generally not very good at detecting anything but the oldest spyware. I would uninstall it.

I'm going to assume (dangerous) this is a work machine of some sort? The autodata prgram looks like some sort of lookup tool for auto repair so I assume it is needed...

DirectUpdate...are you running some sort of server that requires people to be able to find your machine?

You've got all kinds of symantec software running (nortons av, ghost tools, speeddisk), which I assume you want... run live update to ensure all is up to date

You've got multiple spyware programs running in realtime, and two of them are essentially the same thing: Sunbelt Software's CounterSpy Client and Microsoft AntiSpyware--both are based on Giant Antispyware.

Running two almost identical programs is bound to cause issues, then you add in SpySweeper. I would uninstall two of the realtime monitor functions (keep them for manual scans if you like).

Do you really need windowblinds? It is a bit of a resource hog and can interfere with programs that are programmed poorly. At the least, download the latest version

Finally, you've got some debris from previous cleanings that you can use to hijackthis to clean

This may be left over from a infection, or if this is a work computer, a system admin may have placed it here. Remove it if it is a personal computer
