There seems to be an error

Can you make sure that runscanner.exe and it's folder is saved to your desktop in it's own folder

Then run it again and upload the .run file here

You are using an old version of Runscanner

Can you download the latest version from here

http://www.runscanne...t/download.aspx

Then send a new run file

Hello

You have two anti-virus programs, CA and AVG, you need to remove one of these

Download the zipped attachment at the end of this post(this will be your runscanner as fixed by me)

  • Unzip it to your desktop then double click the runscanner icon this will run the program.
  • Click on the "Item Fixer" tab
  • You will notice several entries with a tick in red, click Fix checked.
  • Accept the warning then repeat until they are all gone.

Also tell me how your PC is running

I double-clicked on fix.run. I am not seeing the tab. Am I missing something?

BTW, I've uninstalled CA. It probably was not a clean uninstall. I don't think that it is running though. I have one more PC that is running slow. I'll run RunScanner on it and send the results.

Double click the .run file I uploaded and fix all the entries that I checked, they should be under the tab Item Fixer

Let me know how that goes

As I showed you in the image, there is no Item Fixer tab. If you could look at the second file, i'll really appreciate it.

I have looked at it

Right click on each entry that I have checked in your run file, then click Delete

Do this for all of them and tell me how your PC is now

Done. I'll reboot and let you know. In meanwhile, could you look at the second file please? Thanks.
