I occasionally run into the problem at work where a file that I need to send a customer is to large to e-mail even when zipped. Is there a web site or service that I can upload the files to, then supply a link in an e-mail for the customer to download with. Something like photobucket only for documents and cad files. Thank you for any help.

Hello Clark76,

Yes, there are many sites that could fill the bill, such as the following:
YouSendIt - Send large files - transfer delivery - FTP Replacement

I've used this one for much the same reason and found it to work quite well.

Regards,

Ax

Alternatives:

MediaFire.com

Rapidshare.de

megaupload.com

Sendspace.com

All are very good file sharing sites that allow you to upload large files and supply a link to whoever you want to send it to. MediaFire has the best transfer speeds in my opinion. Be sure to have a good internet connection because depending on what you are uploading it takes a long time.
