i recently installed windvd 8 , i purchased it a few months ago, but reinstalled windows since then and just now reinstalled it.

the trial version was working fine but when i activated it it doesnt work. when i open windvd i hear the dvd drive start up, than nothing happens i first thought it might be something wrong with the drive, but it doesn't work in either dvd drive.

i tried it in windows media player and it works fine there.

i als tried reinstalling windvd with no luck

i think ill use windows media player 11. instead, i think its just as good as windvd now, ill just keep windvd installed for the codec.
