Dell Inspiron 6000

I have a dell Inspiron 6000 - when turning on the laptop it goes from the dell screen to a blank/black screen.
I was able to get into the diagnostics and all tests PASS.
still nothing but a blank/black screen.- no cursor- nothing
Please help.

Hard Drive failure most likely.
