My brother has a laptop, but i am not certain what processor it is.

When i right click My Computer and check properties, it says "Intel Core (CPU) 2"

Does that mean its Core 2 duo? or Intel Core Single maybe? I have no clue.
I want to know so i can determine whether his laptop should be able to process games that require a higher ghz standard than his laptop can offer.

Any time you want to know more about a computer, install Belarc Adviser and run it.
