What do you mean by "replaced memory stick"?
Did you add more memory?
Was there a problem with the 1 you had?

Is it seated properly?

I originally only had 256MB memory.I purchased and added to my laptop a 512MB card. It ran fine until yesterday when I removed the cards so I could get some dust out of the inside of my computer. I didn't want to take the chance of static to my memory cards. After I put everything back together, when I try to boot, it only comes on for a few seconds, beeps once, and then turns itself off.
