Hey Guys,

I have a bunch of CAL licenses i cant figure out how to add them on server. Any ideas? Thanks.

the licensing for microsoft servers is a paper license....keep the documentation that states the number of CALS you have...if you're ever audited by MS they'll ask for that paper....and a list of machines/users that would be using those CALS

Hi J :)

Log into the server. Click start>programs>administrative tools>licensing

This will open a snapin where you can enter your cals. You will need the information from your License Confirmation letter.
