sorry for the long wait. i haven't really had time to look into forums untill now.

Problem : i don't have a host that i can upload this forum software to. if anyone knows of a free host that i can place any type of forum on phpbb, yabb, or SMF to the help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks for all the help.

well I am at 100webspace.com they seem to host well, atleast for what I have done and they are free hosting. Altho I am sure others prob have something that might be better but everyone to their own.

They support all the forums you mentioned, also have some that install into your website you just choose what you want. I would say YaBB tho cause they have a very well done support forum. Very helpful as well, all for free.

You can also use zymic.com

It provides great storage and bandwidth. It's totally free and they give you really small domain names...for example:

mywebsite.zxq.com
mywebsite.zzl.org

They provide 5 MYSQL databases php support

They also offer some tutorials, free templates, and other support

I couldn't believe it once I actually found that site. I though there would be some string attached or something but I read the agreement and there isn't anything added-on. They don't display ads or anything.

Happy Hosting. :)

well i figured i would tell you all the results of my quest for a forum

I went along with UTaylor hosting plan as it was the easiest to set up. Now im just testing out forum software. right now i have myBB installed. i think i will go with a diffrent board, but if anyone is interested in looking at my board the adress is
http://chatcorner.zz...forum/index.php. if it doesn't load properly, im most likely putting different forums software on it.

Thanks Again

ok i am back again. now i am muddling around with phpBB 3.0.1 where can i find styles and mods for this version of phpBB seeing as the phpBB website doesn't seem to have a whole lot of variety, or can i use phpBB 2.0.XX mods for a phpBB 3.0.1 board?
