Hi I am looking for a good parental control program. I don't mind paying for one if it is really good.

I want to be able to watch what my kids are doing or what they have done and also to block from adult sites. Any suggestions?

Thanks
Heidi

Hello,
With Vista's parental controls you can limit;
  • The sites that they can access.
  • The games that can be played.
  • The time that they can spend on the computer.
  • Get a report of the activity.

http://www.google.co...ol for internet just did a quick google search for "free parental control for internet".....i've got experience with content filtering etc... however the tools i use/have used would be overkill (and no offense...overcomplicated) for home use

This one out of that list caught my eye though
it seems to be a pretty sollid package....and it's got a dynamically updated filter list..

I used the parental controls in Vista on my wifes laptop.
That did not go over so well, I had to take them off.

Thanks columbo with biggles glasses! :)
Soz, very apt picture for title though..

I'm glad to have an expert opinion. Kids on the Internet today is such a risky business, they seem to think freedom of expression is going to be emotionally/security free!

I will look into K9 (I think I have heard of this before.. many years ago, prob on it's first years-ish). Anyhows I will download and let you know what happens.

Thanks again
Hidyjane :)
