Hi, I'm kind of new to the computer thing. OK.. here's my situation. I keep getting a message saying that my graphics adapter is not compatible with the DirectX 9.0. I already downloaded it and I still get that message.

Adapter - NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400 (Microsoft Corporation)
Chip Type - GeForce MX/MX 400
DAC Type - Integrated RAMDAC

Can anyone let me know if it is compatible, if not where can I get a new one?

you need to find something that is in the agp format. As your located in Mexico, I can't tell you where to find one. I can tell you that you should look into something like:
nvidia 5700 or 6600 (or better)
ati 9600 or better

I know here in the USA, agp format video cards are hard to come by now. Most everything is PCI-x (pci express) format.

just in case you don't know what a AGP port is: http://en.wikipedia....d_Graphics_Port
