I seem to have the same problem as a previous post (dajasmom). I followed some of the tips - smitfraudfix and DSS but now im lost! The My Way Search Assistant is appearing in my programs but it won't allow me to delete it-doesn't give me the option. The message on my desktop disappeared but I want to make sure that whatever this is -- is completely gone! I'm not familiar with HiJackThis, I would assume its a type of antivirus software? I have McAfee but it doesn't seem to be getting rid of any of the problem..I also tried using Spybot and AdAware. Please help- this is driving me insane!!!
