hey guys

So i recently bought a new 21" CRT monitor for my pc. It is an IBM P275. So i plugged it all in and i turned it on, then turned on computer. What comes up on screen is a little box with some info in it. This is exactly what it says...

Information
Monitor is working
Input 2 : No signal
Activate by computer
Check signal cable
check input selector

Then it has some other stuff about colours, white blue green etc. which is not relevant. So obviously the monitor is fine but the connection to the pc is bad. I believe its a standard VGA cable to the graphics card port and then another cable to a power point. Can anyone please help me get this thing to work?

It said "Check signal cable"
so i'm going to assume the cable is bad..

do you have another cable available to test with?

also check if your monitor is in the right "Channel"
because my Monitor has several "Channels"
like S-Video, VGA, DVI, etc.
