Hi guys,

I am looking for recommendations for a MySQL host.

I need to be able to develop in PHP on one site, but access a MySQL 5.0 database directly, by IP address, on a separate host. That is the host I am looking for.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Propel

Are you looking strictly for testing and development or is this going to be a published work? If so you can just download what you need (mySQL, Apache & PHP) onto a local PC and run testing there.

If this is a published endeavor you might be hard pressed to find someone to allow a host to host connection as this can cause a severe security risk...
