Hello,

I run IT at a very small business (by default). I have an Dell Optiplex 210L that is infected with something. The user admitted to surfing around myspace and other sites and all of a sudden she was beseiged by pop-ups. We run a corporate version of Symantec anti-virus. The auto-protect came up with a trojan.vundo and trojan.adclicker that were deleted and a few things in quarintine like adware.maxsearch, adware.purityscan and spyware.Isearch. I have a little experience in this (remember I said little) and I tried to run a few scans to clean things up. I continue to get the adware.maxsearch everytime I reboot and the homepage is hijacked to a symantec site (http://securityrespo...r/fix_homepage/)

I figured I needed some help so I followed the instructions in the "read this before posting a HJT log"post.

The ATF cleaner was hanging up so I used CCleaner.
I created a new restore point and deleted the old ones.
I ran AVG Antispyware. The report did not have any data. Only one item had to be deleted: tracking cookie.TribalFusion.
I ran Super Anti-Spyware. Here is my log:

I deleted three items in the log in the interest of confidentiality. I deleted our complany homepage (replaced by xxxxxx.com), the custom IE welcome header (IE provided by......), and our domain name. Probably being paranoid but you never know.

I also ran the uninstall list.
